What's Up Marion County?

Ocala Florida is central to all the Marion County Action and Adventure. The TDC of Marion County has laid dormant ever since the Ocala Marion County ordinance ordering Marion County to be represented to the world by the name, Ocala-Marion. Soon the VCB of Ocaladropped the Marion reference, and a new Ocala Logo was born.

Citizens recently asked that the TDC and VCB be directed to return to the Marion County name because our Name is Marion County indicated advocate Steve Hunter. Now the community is joining in the chores. Monroe Regional Medical Center purchased a full page add, titled: Marion County has Spoken! Ocala We Love You but you're not Marion County, you are in Marion County, an important part but less than 20 % of Marion County. Let's get our name straight TDC and VCB.
